Fall Fest '25 was a hit!  But I have to let you in on a secret...
After 3-4 years of spear heading the event I told myself I would not lead it again.  It takes a lot of organization, time, efforts, etc. and doing events is not what I am called to do.  Every year I'd press through ti all, but be praying, "Lord, this isn't my calling."  I felt I was neglecting what I was called to do (Pastoring) putting hour and hour into the planning of the event.
People asked to do it again, but I was a bit hesitant.  I told them I wasn't going to lead it.  And it had to be done to a certain degree of excellence. (I'm convinced that whatever we do we do it with our all and to the best as unto Jesus!)
When Efren Alejo came on board as our family pastor, I asked him if he wanted to lead it as an outreach to families in our community.  He said yes and the rest is history!  We also had a wonderful group from New Mexico come in and helped with various things. (19 servants to help clean, set up, and even run areas, and even do some flyers and evangelism).  In the end people had fun, new people were reached and they experienced the love of Christ from the church.  I even know of  1 person that got saved!
One thing I learned is this...Outreach is exhausting but worth it.  We spend ourselves in various ways so that people may know Jesus and see His love.  Keep at it friends in whatever God calls you to do.  For your labor is not in vain.
