If we are to do God's Work we must consider how we do it. We don't want to panic or push in our flesh just to make things happen. We also don't want to be lazy in the work before us. So what do we do? We understand that God wants to empower us through His Spirit and His Word to do what He's called us to do. He wants to be glorified in us and through us. What is God calling you to do and how are you doing it? Remember, it's "not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit", says the Lord. (Zech. 4:12)
Israel is back in their land after 70 years. They've begun the rebuilding of the Temple but hit a snag when opposition arose and the work stopped. Now God is calling them back to the work and encouraging them through the prophets Zechariah & Haggai. How would it all go down? Would they finish the task? Stay tuned...
