Reviving a marriage happens as we cooperate with God's Word and God's Spirit. It's a powerful move toward something great. Ezra has pinpointed the problem. The people were neglecting God's Word regarding what marriage is to be like. Ezra grieved deeply over it and then prayed to God, confessing their sin, realizing they as a nation were disobeying God, and apart from God's mercy they were sunk!
So how would the people respond to what they saw and heard? And what direction would they take in moving forward?
